Stories from Our Clients
House in Kinomoto

We have been living in this home for nearly eight years, and we still love it as much as when we first moved in.
The design clearly distinguishes the street side from the garden side, providing both a strong sense of privacy and security while opening the house generously toward the garden.
Thanks to this thoughtful layout, we can enjoy barbecues, a fire pit, and outdoor meals without worrying about neighboring houses.
The high clerestory windows in the living room fill the ceiling with beautiful natural light during the day. At night, the gentle glow spilling through the windows creates a warm and elegant appearance from outside.
The exposed timber beams in the living room have also become a favorite feature. We've hung a swing and a hammock from them, and they are always a big hit with both our children and visiting friends.

House renovation in Nanayama

I remember thinking, "What beautiful houses. I'd love to live in a home like that someday."
The proposals we received went far beyond floor plans and architectural design. They helped us imagine how we would actually live in the house, offering ideas that shaped not just the building itself, but our future lifestyle.
Since moving in, we've found ourselves spending much more time at home than going out. Our home has become a place where family naturally gathers, and where friends are always welcome.

When we first met Mr. Tamura and showed him our site, he suggested a single-story home—something we had already given up on.
He also sketched a rough exterior concept on the spot, and it was exactly what we had been hoping for. That was the moment we knew we had found the right architect.
Every design meeting was exciting because each proposal went beyond anything we had imagined. Mr. Tamura consistently introduced ideas that exceeded our expectations and made the entire process enjoyable.
Everyone who visits our home tells us that it is truly one of a kind. More importantly, it has become a place where we feel completely comfortable, and being at home has become one of the greatest pleasures in our daily lives.

Building Extension and Renovation

As our meetings progressed, Mr. Tamura's unexpected ideas and creative proposals challenged our preconceived notions of what a home should be—in the best possible way.
His approachable style made it easy to share our thoughts, even as complete beginners, and we always felt that our opinions were valued. The entire process was enjoyable, and it truly felt as though we were creating a unique work of architecture together.
One of my husband's favorite features is the entrance façade, which he cared deeply about throughout the design process.
The living room, finished with beautiful Kōyamaki (Japanese umbrella pine) flooring, has also become a highlight of the house and is always admired by our guests.
